Hello all,

I've learned a lot here already. I'll be taking delivery on my first MAC (PS in .45) in (hopefully) about 3-4 months. That'll leave me plenty of time to buy accessories.

Any thoughts on which foregrip functions best? I like the idea of getting a little more barrel up front also. I've seen the foregrips that simply screw onto the barrel threads, but I'm not crazy about having my fingers that close to the muzzle.

Trying to decide between getting the barrel extension (looks like about 5-6"?) and adding the grip that attaches to it, or simply getting the MP5 style.

Anybody here have either? Pros and cons of both? Are they sturdy? Do they unscrew easily when firing?

Thanks in advance.

The mp5 grip works well. It doesn't seem to unscrew on me and it keeps your fingers away from the muzzle.

The "K grip" I have works fine but it is not threaded for the suppressor. So I have to make the choice of ghetto grip or quiet. Most often I choose quiet and hang on to the suppressor.

That is the grip I was referring to also. The non threading is an issue but I probably wouldn't feel comfortable threading a suppressor on it anyways (fear of baffle strikes). With no suppressor, it works well. With a suppressor, just hold onto the can (wear gloves or use a sleeve, hot, very hot).
