People just don't know how amazing the bolt and upper combo is until they've shot one. Combined with your stock, it's what the gun should have been from to start.

I'm delighted you're making these available for the masses. :thumbs_up

We will be programing what we need to make the front grip hardware as well as the short charging slide this week. We also have to either program or source the special charging handle that was on #12 that was sent to me so I could copy it. We hope to have the prototype to Mike so he can approve it in a couple of weeks with the original charger hardware and a shorter version of our spring loaded charging handle. Mike or myself will let the first ones on the list know when production actually starts on the Grey Ghost uppers. Any changes to the standard upper need to be addressed BEFORE I start the upper so we can work out any details and pricing. I have test fired the upper with the heavy bolt and it is a nice compact upper that is completely controllable even when just dumping the mag.

I second what Vegas said! :)

I only wish my father was still alive to see it. He loved the size of the M11/Nine and always said if you could just make it more accurate and controllable it would be an amazing gun. Thanks Mike, Vegas and Sam for making this all come together. I can't believe how far it's come in the last year. Gordon B. Ingram would be proud.

Thanks Sam. This is going to be great, we really appreciate these uppers being built. I think this was the last thing holding back the CF-W bolt from breaking into the mainstream as the number one must have item for every m11/9.

I want one now too...and I already own one of the original grey ghosts! Emailing mike now

Wow!! I'm excited, there is actually a chance I could have my upper by Memorial Day. Thanks to Mike and Sam for bringing this to market.

Any chance of a "mini-ghost" being made for the 380 bolt when it is in production?

Slight hijack, is that a Gemtech Multimount? If so how bad is the blowback?

Yes that's a Multimount. Same blowback as any of the other high end performing cans. The low profile gas kicker on the Grey Ghost pretty much will handle the blowback from any can, although I still recommend an internal gas block because seepage still occurs in the back around the stock slots that can make to your eyes and irritate them. The Multimount was rated best performing can by Silencer Research, although another one tied Its performance, I can't remember the other one. I also have a form one can that ties its performance. The Multimount only weighs 7 ounces and is 7 inches long if I remember correctly. It's amazing!

The Grey Ghost upper list is closed. I don't want to commit Sam to more than 6 months of production a batch. After he gets the first batch done if he wants to do another one we will. Thanks all!

Thanks for all the work Mike!!!!!

+1, I haven't even shot with my bolt because of my procrastination on an upper but this was a no brainier and forced my hand. Some really great features at a great price, better than what I would have ended up with otherwise and a lot less hassle. Glad to here Sam is building them.

My understanding the stock is not included in that price. I am in agreement with MichaelHK that I hope there is an option to bundle at a fair price.
