I owe a much more detailed review of this, but in short Jeff (wtrski76), last spring, worked with me over a few weeks to develop a brass deflector and rear grip strap solution for the small magwell M11-A1. Here are a few pics, in short it fits great and works very well and made the gun quite a bit more comfortable to shoot, especially as a lefty.

Rather than add the extra weight, bulk, and expense of the deflector; shoot from the hip and wear a 'cup' for protection where it really matters.

Haha, the takedown pin is very quick as I was trying to tune uppers between this original one and a new one with the MAC-Adapter front end. For the deflector, as a lefty, the brass was a little too close to my head for my personal comfort!
