hi everyone,

so, I bought this "fixer upper" at a gun show years ago and only recently acquired enough of the parts to put it together. feeds dummy rounds and extracts them fine, but at the range it is FTF city. i'll post a pic in a few, but the primers are dented at twelve o'clock and enough off center that they won't go bang.

any uzi doctors in the house?

following is one that I rotated 180 degree (putting the first strike at 6 o'clock)

If it is a semi-auto mini, I might be of help.

My mini came with a B style bolt, with a A style firing pin. I started getting light primer strikes/FTF with it. Took it apart and noticed little "dings" on the firing pin base.

I realized the blocking latch was hitting the firing pin, slowing/stopping it from firing. I removed the blocking latch/spring and all the problems went away!!

Fires, every, single, time now.

Thanks glockdude. Mine doesn't have the model b latch.

Also my strikes aren't light. I can't measure exactly the depths, but they are at least equal to those made by the CZ pistol (middle in the pic).
