Just wondering if anyone knows why some Vectors are stamped in different locations?

From what I’ve seen, some Vectors are stamped in the center and some are stamped Vector to the right (closer to the Group stamped).
I’ve searched but don’t seem to see much. The stamp on the right side appears to be more heavy handed (at least from what I’ve seen). Any rhyme or reason why this happened?
I’m guessing the ones that are stamped more towards the right are the early ones and the center line stamp is more refined later stamp (just a guess).

TIA

A few of the very early Vector guns weren't marked at all, but most are. The earlier ones were marked towards the back, near the Group Industries markings. Later they started putting it above the grip frame and that's the most common spot.
