Took my little mac out today today and thought I'd share a pic of the convenient case I've used for the last few years, a Stanley 10qt lunch box. Its got enough room for the gun, stock, spare upper, can, a few tools, and several 30 and 50 rd shockwaves. I've started to build a more organized interior several times but always go back to just using a large sheet of rubber draped inside with another smaller sheet between stuff. It's perfect for me when I'm not shooting drums and doesn't look like a gun case if someone sees it on the floor of my truck.

Still got room for the Thermos?
Unfortunately no! That could be a handy feature to keep.

Here's the first interior I slapped together to try to keep stuff organized but it takes up a lot of space. The box is just tall enough to fit the gun vertically with the stock removed and I've thought about making a frame out of wood or poured urethane to hold it muzzle down. It would look cool but I really like just leaving the PS folding stock (my favorite!) attached and it would also eat up a lot of the volume.innerstuff.jpgIn2.jpg
Fits Ghost upper w/CF-W bolt & RMR, OEM upper, PS mini uzi stock, can, and 3 30s and 2 50s

Pretty cool actually. This thing screams operational lunchbox for some reason. I’m sure it’s possible.

Seal Team TV series deleted scene: 5 Bravo Team operators dressed as construction workers on the high steel. They see their target walk by below, Bravo One yells "Lunch Time!" and they immediately grab their lunchboxes, clip their ropes to a handy beam, and descend rapidly as they run down the building, firing their MP7s from their specially modified Stanley lunchboxes. His ammunition expended, Ray transitions to his thermos filled with napalm and white phosphorous, pulling the ring to arm it as he lines up his throw.

Sonny struggles to open his lunchbox when it fails to fire, only to discover he has inadvertently grabbed his real lunch box as the 2 sandwiches and Twinkie Davis had packed for him fall out...

This was very well written and funny. I would read the whole script. 🤣

I made a very simple covert carry case for the truck gun so that I could take the Chinese AKM back and forth to the vehicle without anyone realizing a gun was being transported.

The original handle was made of the same plastic as the Contico tool box, so if you look closely, you can see it broke off from the heavy weight of the rifle and loaded magazines, so I modified a used drywall mud trowel to replace it and now it works fine.

Buddy of mine make a krink briefcase. Has basically a claw mount that is the handle of the briefcase. The sides of the briefcase lock into the handle assembly. Flip a lever and the side fall off the rifle. Has enough space under the handle assembly to use the iron or maybe even put a pistol red dot.

I'll have to see if I can get photos from him.
