How much would Colt charge a law enforcement agency for a Post Sample A2 M16 carbine?

any LE agencies like police dept, don't need to buy a post MG or any MGs..........police depts just need to file a request for a M16, M249 etc..... to the defense department through the 1033 Program ..........the transfer is a tax-free transfer, all the depts have to do is pay shipping cost. the 1033 program also includes a variety of other things, like APC, helicopters, and other military equipment

a friend I knew who was a cop at the Boardman, Ohio PD requested 4-M14s and 5 or 6 M16s for his department and the Army shipped them to his department from Anniston .

Yes. The buyer was "Guns and Gold 2" (which sounds like a pawn shop to me) and the feedback from the seller was "Excellent buyer! Fast payment!" The buyer paid about $15,000 to much in my opinion.

that guy who saw one sold for $62,500 is going to test my hypothesis

Problem is, an auction with more than a penny or so starting price is doomed to failure from the get-go. Nobody bids on those.

A better test of value is the A2 linked above that is at $30,000 even as of right now. THe one with the bayonet that the dude photographed 6 times

I want to see one sell that isn’t for sale by Sienna. Prices on their other MGs are high too.

The one for 39k was from a seller with hardly any feedback and nothing recent. I do think the sienna one are bs, but I think buyers are just being cautious on the 39k one.

It was a "buy it now" that the bidder exercised. I bet that's it. The seller made a strategic error by listing it with a high starting price as opposed to a penny auction (guaranteeing nobody would bid) and then a buy-it-now that appears from the perspective of this thread to be well below market.
