Well my mini closed bolt kit came today.

It was a IMI mini receiver
closed bolt full auto kit

Well I took it to the range and It ran the first mag fine, very very very fast

well after that the problem I had were

FTF round was binding between the barrel , feedblock and bolt.
Mabey 2-3 Light primer strikes

ran fine in semi,
I was using 115 grain magtech ammo, could this be the problem.

also is there a break in time on these guns, with the big black buffer in it , its kinda hard to cock, compared to my full size

I am a class 2 BTW .

Any help would be wonderful befor 7am central time(big MG shoot in MN)

How thick is the buffer? I have a closed bolt setup for mine and I think the buffer is less than 1/2" thick. If you have a really big buffer in it, that could be the problem. Also macke sure the barrel nut is on tight.

I'll bring my closed bolt, recoil spring, buffer, extra barrel and a spare lower tomorrow so see if we can get it running. I won't be there until about 10:00.

sweet, the barrel was tight, After 100 rounds I checked it and it clicked 1 -2 notches

It is 1/2 think or so.

What ammo do you guys run in the closed mini
