I'm amazed. I guess he had his transferable auto-sear in a Norinco Type 56 and was granted a letter to allow him to transfer it to an Arsenal receiver. I've never heard of being allowed to drill a third hole in a new receiver before.

yeah, that is new one on me as well. drilling a hole in the receiver to install that sear, be it regitered or not, would be consider making a new machine gun.

ATF has determined that registered FNC sear can be installed in a semi FNC rifle legally, "because no modification to the receiver, which is the upper assembly, is required to properly install the sear."

He is far from golden as ATF cannot give you permission to violate the law, and no US attorney is obligated to abide by ATF letter. There is also the problem with possible state law violations.

I see two options:

1) There is a misinterpretation as to what the letter says.

2) ATF made an error, like they have done so many times in past (No need to engrave an SBR, shoestring is a machine gun, Bump stocks are not machine guns, etc.). In this case he will have to forfeit his arsenal if the change their mind.

Private is the most secure type of video on YouTube. They are only visible to people (up to 50 in total) that you invite. Private videos don’t appear in video recommendations, search results, and video tab sections for uploading.

Plus, invitees can’t share the video with other people. Also, even if someone has the link, they still can’t see your video unless they have the invite.
