How does the 45acp compare to 9mm UZI F/A?

I have a 9mm registered bolt. Would like a Uzi RR but may just buy a 45acp bolt. I love my UZI best gun ever. However I wondered how it handle the 45acp in F/A?

I should buy a RR so I can have more flexibility.

Thanks
Ralph

It has a bit more kick. Very manageable. Speeding it up with a buffer tends to help, but I also run 9mm with a buffer.

I have a conversion with a GG lower. GG mags are great magazines, totally reliable and built like a tank.

I'd shoot it more if .45 wasn't so damn expensive.

45acp runs nice through my UZI. You can feel the difference, and the power of the 45. I also prefer using a buffer, definitively smoother. Like greenpeas said," I'd shoot it more if .45 wasn't so damn expensive."

definitely thumps harder; haven't met a plate or popper it can't knock down. really quiet with a can. have a steel css can that really tames the beast to make it very manageable. imi mags are pricey but the grease gun lower conversion works well too. hoping the promags prove to be a viable alternative but not holding my breath.

I don't shoot mine in 45 much, mainly due to

1. cost of the ammo
2. the 22 kit is more fun
3. I'd rather shoot 9mm in it

Another option is to contact Troy at barrelXchange to open up your bolt to run 357 sig, 40 S&W, 10mm, plus 9mm.

4.Most of the brass is bulged so bad it can't be reloaded. (totally normal for open bolt SMG)
