Safety aside; (assuming it's an issue) I gotta give dude props.

It's his rifle and he wanted to modify it to better fit his tastes, and he stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun for doing so.

However.

Posting on AR-15.com was his first mistake. Then after the paint job, the pink sheets and comment bubles I can take him as about as seriously as I can throw him.

That thread was damn funny. I haven't laughed over a firearm in a very, very long time. Especially an AR-15.

I have a hard time believing that is real. If it is, must be an 18 year old or soemthing in his garage.

Pink background?? That is why is think it may not be real. I can see my way to someone doing the dremel work, etc, but I have a hard time with the fuzzy pink background.
