The plastic Lage stock has molded teeth that are not pleasant while shooting. I had a nice thin pachmayr laying around and fitted it. Feels awesome. I may go ahead and grind it to the butt profile but left it long for now. I want to add some neoprene for a cheek pad next if I can find some die cut piece or something that will look clean.

Pro-tip: to grind to fit, put it in the freezer overnight then take it to the belt sander.

I'm all for modding for what works for you. Well done.

P.s. I'd for sure grind off the excess pad.

I used standard reoil pad screws, course wood screws...
I used a disc sander with 80 grit pad not a table saw. Part 2 below: cheek riser

I'm guessing you don't have a beard. I could imagine those screw heads plucking a few hairs from the chinny-chin-chin. :D
