What about this one.

It has only 2 holes, but the marks shown on the right side it should've have 3.

Seller says there is no weld of them; I find out.

It was purchased 15 years ago as a de-milled kit in Canada; hence the no importer marks (I've found others up there with no importers info).

Back then, they had some good stuff and still do; unfortunely can't bring it over; unless its parts.

They also register the barrel, not the receiver; Go figure!

It only has a 1/32' bandsaw cut on each side

Wow...those are very old photos. I almost bought that demill years ago. I think I still have the photos somewhere. And the autosear hole is welded up, at least at the time that was communicated to me by the seller. Are they still selling that, or selling receivers like that?

I have one of those receivers, the serial numbers are only about 15 different from mine.

Cool Hagar...to me, if its a real IMI receiver, it;s a Galil, period, end of story. Nice rifle Hagar.

If you have old photo's from that; please send some my way.

I bought the last one out of (3) that has been in the basement for some time.

Once I get it, I can inspect it a lot further.

I have to find them, so many disconnected IDE hard drives with stuff on them in my closet, but I have the exact same photos you just showed. The seller at the time also offered to sell me, in two separate shipments, a demiled galil receiver that had only one saw cut, but instead of being like the photos, it was down the center of the receiver, which resulted in two perfect isometrical halves which would show no cuts, unless you looked at the receiver from the bottom, top or front or back. I sent him an international money order, which is how he requested payment but I never got the receiver. At the same time, the money order was never cashed, so I assume it was lost and after that I lost interest in doing it all over again.

Those look like the receiver sections that a guy from Swastika, Ontario was selling a few yrs. ago. He told me he bought a couple of pallets of complete Galils from the Israelis that were scrapped for various reasons and he was selling them as repair sections and would have them sawed into diff. sections when someone wanted some.
Here's a rear section I bought from him. Bet not many of you have seen a Galil with this Logo on it.

Besides the locking lugs the ejector has to be heat treated. The first signs will be peening and mushrooming of the ejector.I spent $54 for a set of headspace guages. Takes about a minute, too difficult to eyeball the lugs with my old eyes, but the guages give me peace of mind. Easy to see unusual battering of the the ejector.I would imagine steel case ammo would be hard on an improperly treated ejector.
