so im new to these beautiful pieces of art. How durable are they? Can it handle thousands of rounds fired? What parts wear or break first in most cases, if at all? My guess would be firing pin or extractor, other than that it seems very durable. Thanks.

They can handle a million rounds of fire. But you're going to need either a full auto one or extra fingers to pull that off. I replaced a sear in mine once. Basically the AK-47 of submachine guns, except not as complicated.

In semi auto mode they will last forever.

It would require vast financial resources and a whole bunch of free time to wear out an IMI SA Uzi.

I have been firing a Vector for almost 20 years, with cases upon cases upon cases of 9mm and .22 lr through it. I did wear out a 9mm extractor, but that's it. I replaced 9mm recoil springs from time to time. Don't know if it was necessary, but it made me feel better knowing a fresh spring was in it.
