all of the 22rd promags I bought new for the Uzi 45 kit work perfectly.

When did you get yours? I took a chance and bought 2 about 2 or 3 years ago and they are terrible. Rounds get stuck just loading them.

I bought one at a gun show recently. It is so far out of spec (too narrow sided to side) to stay locked in the magwell. Insert it, wiggle the gun, and it drops out even when mag is empty. Buyer beware.

Interesting. I bought a few after they had been out a year or two, mostly to try to get to work with my .40 conversion. They don't work well for that, but they seem to do just fine in .45.

I know Promag had some issues when they were first introduced. But they had worked through them, posting here on Uzitalk and getting feedback. After those initial issues, they seemed to work well for everyone. I haven't heard much about them lately, one way or the other. But once they got them figured out, I can't see why they would change.

I wonder if you got some new-old-stock mags from that initial run.

Possibly the one I bought was the first version. Problem with it is thickness. It is a full .040" narrower than factory mags, allowing it to wobble (and fall out) of the mag well. Thanks

Instead of starting a new thread, I’ll just bump this one. At $30 I’ll buy a couple and try them out. I have a handful of IMI mags but 20-22 rnd interests me.

Anyone buy Promags recently for their 45 Uzis?
