Here's another obscure one. Does anyone remember "Golden Rendezvous"? I was a teenage homebody back when HBO came into its own around 1980. I wore out our old VCR console recording every action flick possible. THis was one of the many...

Winner for most MAC's seen in a single move has to be "Desperado".

I will never forget going to see McQ as teenager with my parents.
Yes, the MAC made a HUGE impression on me, but it wasn't until around 1980 when I saw my first one (semi) that I recognized what it was.
The open bolt semis were fun, but it wasn't until almost 30 years later until NFA became legal in my state. There was absolutely ZERO doubt in my mind what my first purchase was going to be.
It was surreal bringing home that Powder Springs with the can screwed on it laying in the front seat. LOL

As an aside, I knew of the collector who owned the 9mm M10 that was used in McQ. Years later it was donated to the NRA museum in Virginia. I guess that's a good thing; I don't know if its on public display or not.

It is very much on display at the NRA museum in the movie gun section, right next to an MP5 used in "Speed" if I recall.

My 2-digit Mac-11A1 was one of the Stembridge movie guns that LMO bought and makes me wonder how many movies it was used in over the years and wished I could find how which movies in particular it appeared in. Unfortunately it seems like that they didn't document the serial #'s of the more common inexpensive guns compared to those like the AK's used in Red Dawn or the M-60 in Rambo and others.

I'd never seen McQ, so I rented it from Netflix and just finished watching it. If I didn't already have a MAC, I'd want one!!! :)

I don't think I've ever seen a .45 caliber M-10 used in a Hollywood flick. Do you think the 9mm's were easier to get to function with blanks? Kind of amazing seeing as how relatively rare the 9mm magazines were/are. Funny how the real world MAC situation is exactly the opposite - the .45 is the gun to have, and cheap plentiful mags.

That is a thing of beauty. Been wanting one of those for a long long time. I forgot the can had shiny parts on it, and an awful big hole for a 9mm too. Hollywood...
