Somehow the seller claims to supply all parts except the barrel.

NR No reviews. Looks like a full receiver. to quote Star Wars "IT'S A TRAP" or they are clueless and likely to step on a land mine.

He also has listed a H&K G3 which by the pictures appears to be an intact push pin receiver. Not sure if he is an idiot or if this is a sting operation. I guess there is no point in going through an FFL when it is a non-registered machinegun in the first place.

Per the auction, "Items are located in EU in Germany".

So there's that whole importation thing as well.

So our choices are:

1. Idiot.
2. Scam.
3. ATF sting operation.

None of which are appealing.

"Next!"

Many thanks to OP for pointing out this bit of buffoonery.

According to ad, the parts are in Germany, but the seller is in NV.
He's trying to sell an item that is not even in his possession!
At least he gives the "make sure it's legal" notice.

NO THANKS!

When I first read the post I thought it was out of country so different rules apply. Somehow I overlooked the location of the gun and picked up on the seller who is located in US. So the listing may be legit, just as stated in the auction, know the rules in your country before purchasing.

Everyone makes sure it's legal = no buyers

I remember a while back there was a German military website with tons of German-Spec demilled guns. Basically the barrels were destroyed and the bolts cut in half. They had tons of guns but the stocks dried up rather quickly. I wondered who purchased all of them. My guess, these rifles could be being drop shipped from anywhere and the person is willing to take bitcoin. The stupid thing is, what awesome pieces of history that we can only look at. I doubt this is a sting, but you can guarantee agencies might be watching this.

If the seller cuts up the receiver; as he mentions in his ad for US buyers; you can buy this no problem.
