Wow, I've never seen a SS receiver before. I wonder how many exist?
Def an oddball.

NEVER MIND, I didn't notice at first it was semi-auto. Yeah, I've seen those before.
Usually, they are special presentation models.

Ha,Ha.... did anyone actually read the listing? It's a nickel plated semi. Not stainless.

Vector had these regularly for sale right before the company disappeared. They also sold semi mini Uzis with SS receivers along with the full size with SS receivers. If I recall correctly they were about $100 more for the stainless.

Read the listing again. It says satin nickel finished not nickel plated.
It is a Stainless-Steel Receiver. The stainless steel gets the satin nickel finish look from blasting it with a fine media.
All of our Group Industries Stainless Steel Receivers are in the 600000 serial number range and this one is an early one: 600014.

At $1,600 including the buyer's premium someone got a steal. I certainly would have bid on this if I had seen it last week.

With all due respect to the Uzi at issue, I don't think it was a steal, but rather a reflection of how the general bidding public feels about a two-tone gun.
