I'd sell one of Jake's kidneys to get a M11A1 Khimera upper...still holding out for the 300BLK beltfed upper though. :)

Definitely put some sort of tension screw in the rear of the upper. The wiggle on my -31 annoys the hell out of me, although I know it's no big deal.

I would want one for my M11/9.

I have a Rostock Max V2 3D Printer, and would be willing to do some 3D Prints to do some test measurements / ergonomics alignments with the M11/NINE. I am willing to help on the project anyway I can.

Thanks,
Mike

Any deposits needed for M11/9s?

I'm going to strongly suggest that Team Khimera not take any deposits. It never works out well for either side. (I believe Gaujo coined the term "Team Khimera." :) )

Definitely send Gaujo a PM with your name, email, and sourceforge.net username. (You'll have to register there ahead of time.)

Will keep that in mind. However, with the way that the bolt extension will pass through a bushing in the rear of the receiver (providing another contact point), it may turn out to be unnecessary.

I'm watching this intently. Too dumb to be able to offer anything but moral/financial support, but oh man am I watching this...

I am an engineering supervisor at an aerospace company that works in SoildWorks every day. I would be willing to spend some time on this and leverage my contacts at our machine shops to get this thing going. I have a M11/9 lower that I drew up to the original prints that I would be willing to share to the project as well. I looked on sourceforge and could not find anything on the Khimera. We could set up a google drive and all share what we have.

With all of our combined knowledge and resources we could develop a real game changer. I think this could get real big real fast. I also have 3 M11/9s that I could use for the project as well.

Dude, slip a dime in there- a 10 cent solution to all your wiggly problems! I did it for my Lage upper and now its solid as a rock.
