My 22lr sub cal kit was supposed to arrive yesterday, IT DIDN'T AND ITS LOST.

I spoke with my branch supervisor and he doesn’t know what happened and he spoke with my mail lady and she doesn’t know either. I just spoke with her at my mail box and she said her boss said it was a signature required item and she never had it.

Thanks USPS.

That's a shame, I hope they find it. On my tracking it showed signature required but she just dropped it over the fence and left.

I got my .22 kit yesterday and installed it in my stock upper everything looks good but the magazines didn't lock-in as tight as my 9mm magazines. I can pull them out without hitting the magazine release but I think they will stay in while I'm shooting.

The locking edges on M11 mag catches have a lot of variation. Some are sharp and some are very rounded. The rounded ones don't always lock into the Lage/BDM mags. It is not uncommon to need to file a tiny amount of material off the Lage/BDM mag catch chevron on the back of the mags. Just enough to get it to barely lock in. They will wear in over time.

This happen to me twice with Lage stuff. It showed up a day or two late. Keep your fingers crossed.

Missed my mailman so had to go to the post office to pick it up and its here!

My factory mag catch no worky tho. Time to file! Z mags were sitting high anyhow.

Also I never noticed it before but the stem of my cocking knob appears to be a bit long and drags on the top of the barrel... more filling I guess. It's enough to cause noticable drag. I'm not sure if its because of the 22 kit or not.

Either way stepped out side after I tossed in a different mag catch for testing and its pretty sweet. Constant baseball size fireball coming out of the business end at around 800rpm.

Thanks USPS.

It is well-known in my neighborhood that you never EVER send or receive gift cards or birthday cards via USPS. Apparently the size and thickness of the envelopes is obvious to the postal workers and most folks get the ripped-open envelope absent the gift card.

It's legendary and well-documented in my neighborhood.

Missing a package is common.

I was home for the delivery. She never dropped it off and it was a signature required item.

It arrived at my post office and it went out for delivery yesterday morning and that was its last known location.

They told me it went to another post office but I told them that’s not correct because it clearly lists the zip code of this post office that it arrived at and went out for delivery from.

I think it went out and the mail lady just dropped it off at somebody’s house.
I didn’t receive a missed delivery notification and it doesn’t say that on the tracking.
It says ALERT in red at the top of tracking page. I don’t think stole it but u never know.

That sucks.

I also predict you will eventually get it.

I chased our local mail person around (literally) for four days in pursuit of a Lage upper. I eventually caught her 3-4 streets over, produced my DL and got the box that was bouncing around in her jitney for 4 days.

I got it. I received a call from the supervisor today and they said it will be out for delivery this morning.
My mail lady said we found your package and we have another one for you. I signed for the lage kit and she started to leave without giving me my other package, unreal. As she was leaving I said “I need the other packaged that you just scanned” and she said “OMG sorry”.

Can’t make it up.

Fiddled with fine tuning barrel adjustment so it's dead nuts center by means of my bfh and a punch thru the cocking slot (barrel was too high). Then ground down the stem of the cocking knob that was dragging. Also filed on mag catch and the Chevron on the back of the mags just a touch to clean them up.... now when I hold the trigger down so the search is out of the way the bolt moves 100 percent without drag. It runs mint. Perfect rate of fire too by the way. No supressor needed.

THANK YOU MR LAGE! THIS THING IS AWESOME!

Got my adapter yesterday. Went in the back yard and put 300-400rds down range. Ran good with some 40gr Hv ammo.
It did not like the 36gr ammo I had to try.

I will try again after getting some more rounds down range.

I did have 1 issue. My mags would not lock into place with the US Machinegun extended mag catch. I swapped it out last night for the OEM mag catch and it would barely lock into place.

Another video.

Seems to like 40gr ammo.

Think the others will work if it was ran suppressed. I had high hopes for the Fed Bulk 550 36gr bulk pack. I have tons of it and it sounds great suppressed out of my SBR 22s suppressed.

A suppressor or compensator will definitely help. I run the suppressor when I'm shooting alone so I don't have to use hearing protection. If I'm where other shooters' noise forces me to use hearing protection then I use the compensator to save filling the suppressor with lead and crud that I will have to clean out.

Let us know what ammo you've tried and general results.

I'd appreciate it.

You might want to try the factory upper.
The ammo you’ve tried works great in mine.
I’ve also found that generally heavier 22 grain works the best.
I haven’t tried it suppressed yet. I believe lighter grain bullets will work better with a Can.

I need to buy that ligthnin loader.

I notice in the video you say the mags are locking in but just barely. When mine was like that I noticed the mag being forced in to get it to lock was forcing up that bottom plate thing that's attached to the barrel.... potentially causing friction and pushing up against the bottom of the bolt.

Just my .02$

True did not think about that.

Think I’m going to order a OEM mag catch and try it out and file it down if need be.

And mine is made specifically for the max11k. So will not work in the stock upper.

Thus far ammo tried
-Rem Golden Bullet GTG
- CCI SV GTG
- Rem Thunderbolt GTG
- Fed 525 bulk pack No Go
- Aguila SV ok
- cci mini mag bulk pack “ shootem Troy Landury” ok

When I get a free day will go thru my stash and try others and update ammo list with actual sku numbers.

I have a M11/22 kit in an OEM upper, Lage mag catch. I had to deepen the catch on the mags and file on the catch to allow the mags to seat without binding on the plate. Initially some mags wouldn't fully seat; I would push up hard on them and the catch just wouldn't lock.
