Yep, it's striker fired. Here's my old SAM pistol. I wish I put a 1913 rail on the foregrip for a bipod like a Ruger 10/22 Charger pistol.

Someone needs to develop a gun to use these 600 rd mags.

This guy is the best gun designer of the current generation. I'm sure you know he invented and released the SS for free. Kind of the next one after Kelgren. The amount of IP value he has given away is staggering.

I'm aware he invented it. I'm not a FOSCAD guy but I watched as he had made it and gave it free to the world. Then the ATF started going after those people who printed it so I stopped watching the progress.

Then when Rare Greed got their settlement, my intrest returned. Once the ATF was ordered to return FRTs and SSes, I bought one from the metal makers and was like, "Thank God I didn't buy a M16!"

I don’t think any 10/22 FRT’s have shipped yet have they?

My experience with the GSG drums in a Norrel and postie open bolt 10/22 is that they’re finicky (but so are the base guns)

The black dog 10/22 50 round drums are more reliable for me

OR ain't too bad until recently. I grew up in CA so pretty much anything is heaven. Until September we have better gun laws than Florida. After September we have the same as Florida. The legislative side of OR is definitely a mess.

Still better than Washington.

The GSG 110 round drum has run flawless in my Norrell 10/22. But just about every mag I have tried runs in that gun. YMMV

He replied 16.5".
I think the most reliable Norrell kits have longer barrels.

How’s the trigger pull with the striker system? Alot of striker guns made from open bolt designs aren’t very good.

It's not bad. I sold it to someone here. I would buy it back if they did not want it anymore.

I had a rifle version of the AM180. First I had to grind and polish the crap out of the feed blocks but then it ran great. I worked on the trigger system and it wasn't bad at all. But mags over 50 rounds only make sense on full auto. After about 50 rounds your finger gets tired on semi auto. Now with an FRT-SS the game is back on again for semis and big mags.
