Lage drum carrier opinions?

Thinking about buying my son and I a few of these for the ohio match. What is the general opinion of ease of use, retention, etc. I think one of my biggest concerns is that they would just lean away due to their own weight with a loaded drum.

While we’re on the topic, anyone found a good carrier for suomi 36 round stick mags?

Condor m4 chest rig works well with stick mags. For speedy reloads, open top helps.

G.I. Canteen covers work good too. They also work as a padded case for transporting them.

Yeah, the Lage holders are the way to go if you might want to compete. They were designed by a pretty talented shooter 😊

Lage drum carriers are the best. Frankly drums are PITA if the match has a bunch of movement. Anyway you can bend the Lage carrier to suit the retention level you want. For metal stick mags ie. 36 rnd Soumi. Uzi, etc. I go with magnetic mag holders. You can position mag any way you like…retention is very good. Shooters connection has them. For Glock / CR speed PCC carriers are really good.
