Lage MFG Belt Fed and 10/22 Uppers - New Release

??? There were alot of manufacturers come and gone that had similar products for the MAC line prior. Stoney creek armory (Suomi upper), Alliance Armament (modular/caliber swappable suomi upper and 556 SABRE), C&S metall-werks, Jim Weaver (TASK), Garrison Precision (slow fire upper) , practical solutions.... some even did belt feed variants and AM180 uppers (two I know of). All those different 22kit setups, Hell Calico even did a drum M11 upper.

Lage and Practical Solutions weathered through with MAC products and continued developement that others did not. They are the only two I still own products from other than US Machine gun accessories.

I hope these new products help his buisness thrive and continue developement.

Definitely getting both the .22 upper and the belt fed. Can't wait!!

That belt fed looks awesome. There is no doubt in my mind the M11/9 is a better platform for a belt fed than a M-16, but 10g’s priced me out of it. 10 years ago before I had kids I might have jumped on it. I can’t do it now.
I do have a Lima-6 on order. I know it won’t be as nice as a belt fed from Lage, but for 7k less, I’ll make due.

If you look on the Lage site, you'll see there are at least a couple discontinued uppers. I used to own one of them, and currently own another.
And, IIRC the reason Stony Creek Armory went out of business is because the owner was in a horrific vehicle accident that left him unable to work, at least for a time. There, but for fortune?
MHO, YMMV, etc.
ETA: IIRC, the idea for a Suomi drum upper for the M11/9 was originated by a guy named Anthony Smith who was inspired by the MPA 971 carbine. He was not interested in commercializing his upper and essentially let it go into the public domain, and Stony Creek and Lage both began making them at about the same time.
