This seems like it deserves its own thread:

"We are discontinuing the M-11/22 and MAX-11/22 kits after this run. It has taken 2 years to get 100 people on the list. We used to sell 50 a month. We are well past peak sales. We made 200 kits, when they are gone, they are gone. I am the only one in the shop who builds the kits and my time is needed in new product development. We will continue to support the kits with service and repairs."

And there I am contemplating buying parts for a firearm I don’t own yet.

If history is prophecy, getting this will commit me to an M11/nine (to add to the 10/9 and 11a1 I currently have).

Sent an email to get on the list for a M-11-22. Debating getting on the list for Max-11-22 and I don't even own a Max-11 yet.

This is important.
To quote VegasSMG, "these are the good old days."
These kits will go way up in value over time.
Buy a bunch of mags now, too.

Yep on getting all the mags that you want (times 2) because if Lage isn't selling many kits then they and Black Dog probably haven't been selling as many magazines lately. Eventually they will run one last batch and that will be that. Especially if something bad happens to the injection dies.

I learned about the M11/22 here on UziTalk before they first came out and now we are talking about the end of production. That one product made my donations to this site well worth it.

Well I guess now is the time! Picking two up- one for the MACs (I don’t mess with .22 in the Mac but just To add to future caliber capability options) and a second for use in my FF2 to convert it into a useable machine pistol.

Can't say I really miss mine. It was a fun toy at times, but that was about it. And 22lr is the first to disappear in a panic.

Other than from Lage, are there mags available? Where to order from?

What does one have to do to get on the list for a MAX-11/22 Mk2?

They should consider selling off the design if they are really done with it. Maybe some machine shop would want to pick it up as a side gig.

Asked this same question in the original thread. Was wondering if Lage Mfg was going to give up the rights as the sole seller and let the manufacture (black dog) sale then direct.

Why would they give up the rights to a magazine they designed?

I don’t have any inside knowledge on this, but my uneducated guess would be that Lage is a machine shop, competent in innovating and then mass producing steel and aluminum components.

That’s a completely different arena than molded plastic components.

We are kind of going through that at work right now. We’ve always just fabbed up welded and machined steel assemblies, but are launching a new product with a molded plastic housing.
