I am guessing the additional task of reading/scrutinizing the Trust doc is really slowing them down. Not having to do that review would seem to be a big time saver. Too bad as all my stuff is in Trust name and I refuse to have a few items outside the Trust. And I am too cheap to pay for 2 stamps like what BRNIB is proposing. But maybe I would reconsider if I were facing the process again. It is a good idea if your impatience exceeds your frugality.

My latest purchase is a c&r gun from an individual. So by skipping my trust I’m saving $150 w my dealer fees. It’s gonna be a 2 stamp gun to get it into my trust either way. Many sellers are older guys. With 1 year waits you risk the seller dying on you

the one year is after it gets to my dealer. The first part is short 3-6 weeks transfer to meh dealer

The ATF cashed my check 9 months 14 days ago for a form 4 in-state transfer to my trust. It sounds like the wait could take a few more months.

I bought 4 suppressors through Silencer Shop in the last month. Three of them arrived at the dealer yesterday and the form 4s were mailed (about ten days process time from purchase to arriving at my dealer). The fourth is still waiting for form 3 approval, but I just bought that one on Wednesday.

I have an M10/45 that just arrived at my dealer on Thursday. I'm meeting him early next week to do the paperwork and get it in the mail. It took about fifteen days from the arrival of my check with the seller, the form 3 approval, and shipping to my dealer.

All five items are going to be form 4 individual, so no trust review will be required. I'm hoping to come in under a year.

Just received an approval on a Form 4 transfer on a mg in 2 1/2 months. Paper, individual to individual. That's fast.

I also just had a form 1 SBR approved in 14 days. Efile, individual.

I just picked up a factory SBR that transferred on a Form 4 that also took 2 1/2 months.

I hope this trend continues. I was at my dealers shop yesterday and another customer was picking up his can after one day less than 3 months.

Form 4 trust. 2 RP. Pending dec 11,2018. Finally approved November 24th 2019. Received Dec 5,2019. Just shy of a year. �� The good news is it was approved on Sunday. Guess they are working weekends

Not sure but I signed both form ones on 6/1/20. Payment was sent at the same time.
I would guess sometime that week. Maybe 6/2 or 6/3.


Just a guess though.

You give me hope. I have a F4 that arrived with the ATF around 5-1-2020 so I may only have a couple more months to go!

My luck says I have another 12-24months though.
