Since there seem to be a bunch of mag pouch threads here lately, it reminds me that I've been looking off and on for a few more of the 7-cell Uzi mag pouches. I understand that they were Italian milsurp, they're OD green, and I've read that Sportsmans Guide sold them in bundles some years back. They hold 32-rounders nicely, though I put a wad of newspaper in the bottom just to push 'em up a bit for easier access.

I've looked all the places I know of, and can only find an odd one here or there on GB or GA (often after auction has ended). Any leads or ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks for pushing my old 2012 thread up, as I'm STILL looking for a few of these. :)

I stumbled into my stash of these probably from Sportsmans Guide forever ago. Question - they all seem to come with extra straps that in the picture are attached with a thread. Does anyone know how these are intended to affix?

I did see equivalent pictures with a strap that presumably one would throw over the shoulder, but these seem like they were intended to affix to a belt or other harness. Interested in what that full setup would look like.

Th for the note, PMN'd you back. I have several of these but still have no clue what the odd straps are for. Some of mine have the shoulder strap but do not use those odd little clips.

I assumed that those small clips were to clip on to one's belt to stabilize the load while using the shoulder strap as the primary carrying strap. Would keep the pouch from flopping around as much while running. I wouldn't think that they would be used as primary attachment point with those huge gaps in them.
