The Gen 2's have run 100% for me. Never an issue. Why should I spend more?

Because they are compatible with a greater number of weapons systems and include the dust cover. You know they changed them for a reads on, right?

I shoot AR's. Whatever else they fit is meaningless to me. They changed them for the same reason Tide is "New & Improved"....... So more people will buy them. As I said, the Gen 2 P-Mags have run 100% for me. There are literally millions of them in service. It's impossible to improve on 100% reliable functioning. I have a few of the Gen 3 Mags, and I don't use the dust cover. Just something else to lose.
