Took my PS M10/45 out today. Gun is a bullet hose in full auto. However, on semi, the bolt locks back after the first shot. I'm using the grease gun mag catch from Cobray. Could that be causing the problem?

FWIW... I tested my Viper 45 can. While I had read that Macs were hard to supress, I was surprised how loud the gun still sounded. Its still fine to shoot without ear muffs, but it will never be described as quiet. I shot it dry.

I also shot my SWR GS9-K2 can for the first time. I shot it dry using my Glock 17 and some homemade "Special K" rounds. It was very quiet. I'm very pleased with it.

Isn't that how an open bolt subgun should work in semi? After the bolt locks back does pulling the trigger release the bolt? The trigger just lets the bolt go and the fun begins!

My bad. By "locked" I meant "stuck". I had to separate the upper from the lower in order to get the bolt to slide forward.

I just now went out to the safe and grabbed the gun. I can hand cycle it in semi with no problems- either with or without the mag inserted. This was suppossedly an unfired lower so maybe it just needed to be run a bit.

I think I just heard of someone saying the same thing the other day. Something to do with the mag pushing up on something in the well???? I think they had to do a little grinding on the mag for clearance....

Yeah just got my Viper on my PS as well...To me it is mcuh better than the SIONICS can...Small though. On pg 3 of your manual it says no water or oil...But I used a little Break Free, and it cut it another 3-5db (guess) No it is not Hollywood quiet..lol...But shoot it without the Viper! Sweet crap it is loud.

Did you buy a Conn state gun. They run safe/full-auto only. Just a thought.
