The approved Form 4 on my second M11/9 just came in last week... 291 days. I paid $5000 including a well-working Fleming 22 upper and some other extra accessories. This gun will be my M11/15 host :)

If someone has the extra scratch laying around to pick up another mg.... why would you hate them? Be happy for them. They worked hard to earn that.

Be happy for them. A lot of work goes into owning mgs. Congratulations.

5k! Wow that's a great deal! I paid 7k about two weeks ago for an M11/9 with no extras. It was the best deal I could find. I am pretty sure it will still be one of the least expensive rifle caliber machine guns available once Richard starts producing the new uppers.

2800 for an A1 in mid 2011. should have bought an FNC back then since the sears were 2-2.5k and the guns were about the same......

We shipped the MAX-11/15 prototype off to BATFE for determiniation and classification last week. We are working on the revised lighter and slimmer design and will post pix of the design soon. Currently, I am working on the side charger design on the left side of the upper.

Hi Richard.

Just curious: Doesn't any modification to form, fit, or function of the model you submit for Tech Branch approval (which you receive) require a re-submission of the revised model or a mechanical drawing of same, or is there a sort of carte blanche approval of subsequent modified revisions based on the initial submission?

I never asked you about the K versions of the MAX series of uppers; did they require a separate Tech Branch approval?

I think that, logically, changing the barrel length or the mass of the bolt does not affect the classification of being a "non-gun". Same thing with removing metal to lighten the design.

+1 on that. As long as the operating system is the same you're good.

Every Lage product I have is top notch. Max-11, Max-11k, Max-31, .22 conversions for stock M11 and Max-11/11k. .22 mags are great. Then add outstanding customer service and it makes the M11/9 just great. The stocks, sears, safety's, gas blocks, barrels and Max-11S for the CF tungsten bolt it's ridiculous. Gray ghost on its way. .556 conversion is icing on the cake. Zmags, grips, and rails I feel like that should be an M11 song! Thanks to you guys it's constant fun and anticipation. I post little but shoot a lot. Thanks to Lage, CF, shockwave, blackdog and of course UZI talk for letting me know about and enjoy all this. Keep up the good work. In my line of work I'd say you're killing it!

Yeah, I noticed I didn't comment in that thread at all.

Probably because I know better than to underestimate Richard. He'd make one just to prove he could do it just out of nothing more than spite and mean-ness.
