After several thousand rounds of shooting, about 1990, I stashed this gun away in my safe, where it sat untouched for 30 years. I recently dug it out with the intention of selling it and noticed that the forward portion of the ejection port of this SWD M11/9 SMG is bowing out slightly. I have an NIB one also, and on that unfired gun, that area is perfectly flat. Is this a common issue in these? Does it affect reliability in anyway? I don’t recall any malfunctions at all after shooting it, and before I put it away 30 years ago. I tried to attach a picture here, but for some reason it won’t let me. Appreciate any comments on this issue.
