M11-A1 Only Fires Full Auto

I took my M11-A1 to the range for the first time today. I had a side cocking upper install by Sam and also had it brought back to spec because of excessive pin wear prior to shooting it. The first few times I shot in semi it was fine then it went full auto. That is the only way it fires now and also I noticed the safety does not work. Everything is in place. The safety feels like it works but when you pull the trigger it moves forward. Should I just order all new fire control parts? Thanks

Most likely yes.

You said that semi-auto did function to start? Did the selector lever rotate while firing, or did it start firing auto while the selector lever was in semi?

I had to replace the safety bar and sear of my nearly new M11/9 because the factory bar did not adequately stop the sear from moving down like it should.
Lage parts work perfectly.

Yes it did function to start. I was sighting it in one shot at a time. After a few shots it took off. The selector doesn't really feel like it did before I shot it, I think. I say I think because it was my first time shooting it so I can't be positive but I think it feels differently than it did when I was just getting used to how things felt. After it went full auto on me neither the selector nor the safety worked again. They both move correctly just don't do anything. That is also when I noticed the safety did not work and it worked before I started shooting it. The up side I guess is that it did run in full auto well with my new Z-mags.
