How can I adjust barrel alignment? My OEM upper is not closing on the rounds with my CF -W9mmA bolt. It will close if you slam it but gets jammed and leaves marks on an empty case head the barrel needs to go up.The bolt works fine in all other uppers and the OEM works with the OEM bolt. Can it be fixed? It won't run at all with the OEM upper and the W bolt.

Is the bbl pinned or has it been changed..?

If not pinned is it tight?

A pic of trunion area or inside may help.

My only thoughts were the bbl was crossthreaded somehow or the upper had been blowed up.

I had to adjust the feed ramp on mine (and everything else, literally) to get 100%.

While we are at it, how do you adj the feed ramp? Strip the internals and just bend the feed ramp? Pliers? A little at a time?

I had an upper like that on my m11/9 I just put it upside down in my press and put a socket on top of the chamber ish area of the barrel for maximum leverage and pressed down on the socket. Works like a champ now.

Barrel alignment is much like making sausage. The end result is good, but you may not want to know how it’s made.

First secure upper by locking the trunnion in a vise. Insert a rod into the barrel and bend in the direction required for correct alignment. You won’t need much effort to get you going and it really is that simple.
