I bought a M3A1 welded shell direct from Medea and had John Andrewski rebuild it. Original rear cap welds were a mess. It had a piece of metal internally preventing guide rod plate from seating and had to be cut apart.

John had to put a lot of hours ($$$$) into it.

Supposedly Guidelamp had issues with warping during welding the two stamped halves. Medea supposedly had the same issue.

Congratulations on a running submachine gun !
