I wanted to know for those that have done this how well it ran for them. My Mac runs very well now but mags are a pain to get. I was thinking about doing this myself so looking for some input.

Mine runs great. I think its the way the M10 should have been done from the factory.

So does mine. It was money WELL spent. No more trying find mags that work, filing down the mag catch or the back of the mag.....this that or the other thing. And if you happen to own an UZI {as I do} it's a home run.

I am really thinking about this. I think I have 3 good mac-10 9mm mags and then about another 5 ok ones. I have 30 uzi mags. Hmm.

i like the idea of using uzi mags in the m10 9mm its nice not have to dick with fitting and modifing mags all weekend long. i love the way the uzi grip looks on the m10 i would of done it if my m10 was a 9mm

I guess the phrase ...better late than never... fits here real well, but I can attest that while I had my unmodified Mac 10 (an Ingram) I was at my wits end and thought I had found what probably was to be the most expensive anchor... until I saw a bud with a "funny looking" Mac that ran like a loud sewing machine. I inquired and he directed me to Sam at Practical Solutions and after Sam worked his magic, not only stove pipes and jams became a non existence, but I could now use 9mm as well as 45's and 22's. I can now rely on my Mac-Uzi without any hesitation and what was about to be s-canned became a nice, reliable weapon. I cannot sing the praises for Sam loudly enough, and would recommend him to anyone with Mac 10 problems.

Uzi grip is the only way to go. I was over fighting mags and jams so I sent mine to Sam and Tina for the conversion. I also sent my Lage upper to him at the same time so he could machine the bolt to accept Uzi mags. My m10 runs like a Swiss watch now with any upper or Uzi mag. I would not hesitate to do it again. Like it was already said, it should of been made this way from the factory.

Where do you find Suomi mags for $8.99?

2009 when he posted that reply ;-)

I knew there was a reason I should have bought them when I had the chance! Couldn't imagine how, but now I know. Vegas can you really use suomi stick mags in a 10/9? Does this require a double feed bolt?
