Recently bought a semi M11A1 and would like to get some quality mags and a muzzle device that I could use to get a decent hold on this piece.

Small or large magwell? It’s semi don’t think you’ll have much issue with muzzle rise. Also, no forward grip or you’ve made an aow

You could perhaps use the strap thing

Thanks Bob, Yeah I don't want to get into the aow deal. I was thinking more on the lines of a barrel extension a bit less bulky than the slotted monstrosity that you see so often. Maybe a fake suppressor of moderate size and weight. I'm gonna learn welding so a thread protector might give me a starting point. The mag that came with the piece is metal and is single feed. I was offered a couple of zytel mags by a member but in the past zytel seemed to spell trouble.

if practical solutions makes a grey ghost for semi i would recommend that. Nothing compares...my factory sights were off 2-3' . you need a way to mount a red dot too
