I still have bags of chromed followers with the Chinese character labels I bought from Chloe Keng back in the 90's when the AWB was starting. They saw the marketing angle and imported a bunch more of them. The vast majority of AK mags that KFS imported had the correct mil spec blued followers. They swapped them out at one of their warehouses, along with other "upgrades". The Keng family are one smart and savvy bunch. I'd suggest something, and next thing you know they'd make a trial run "locally" and have it advertised. Probably why they're still around after ALL the old importers are LONG gone.
