I am doing my Form 5320.20, (you know the Mother May I transfer my NFA weapons from my residence to some other place), and I can not remember the mailing address. I think it is Martinsburg West VA. Looked on the ATF web site and could not find it. Tried search function here with no luck. Can any one give me that address?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I have moved several time within the same state and also purchased other new toys since. I have different addresses for almost everything.
I have put off filing the final 5320.20 (this is my final destination) because there are too many addresses and the paths won't make sense plus the addresses are long forgotten.
Its not like they don't know who we are. I'd like to just file a final form without a FROM category and just a TO category.
This isn't a "may I" form, its a "Hey I live here now" form. I don't have to ask the ATF to buy a new house and move on with my life.
I was told by a Class 3 that a 5320 isn't necessary for small moves within the state. But if I left the state...

They need your current address so they will know where to kick the door in to get your goodies.

You can now scan them and email them to nfafax@atf.gov

I rcently did a few for an in-state move, although I’m not positive that I needed to, and received printed/signed copies about 5 weeks later in the mail. Nothing at all ever came back to my email after I sent it.

If I remember correctly it takes 8 to 10 weeks to get those forms back approved and they mail them to your prior residence address so if you have moved several times you will never get the form giving you permission

Thanks cajun 22. I did a fine job of looking with out seeing when I checked the instructions just before posting. As for everyone else, you could have been helpful, but you were so much more. (It's a joke). Thanks all for the info sending the via internet or faxing them to ATF.

Again Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Actually, they mail them to whatever address you list in Box 1 on the form. They often put it in a window envelope, folded so whatever you put in that box shows in the "ship to" area of the envelope.

FWIW, I have sent 5320.20s to transport from State A to State B, with a return address in State C, and never had any problems.

There’s no legal requirement to notify the ATF of in-state change of address/location of NFA items. Though I understand doing so to keep their records up to date.

FYI: While I did not make it clear in the original post, the Form 5 I did, which is actually a Form 5320.20, was to transfer NFA weapons from my home to other states for temp purposes, like a machine gun match. Just thought you all would like to know the time line. Mailed the Forms on 27Dec17. They arrived on 2Jan18. They were stamped approved on 06Jan18, but it took them until 16Jan18 to get in to a envelope and post marked. They arrived at my house on 25Jan18. So about a month from mailing to arrival back to me. Now I am good from 1Feb18 to 31Jan19 to take my SBRs and MGs to 3 different states. Now if I only had some place to go.
