This thread continues to amaze. Great looking finish and the video of it running is fantastic. If you ever decide to produce any more, I'm call dibs on being first in line!!

Thanks guys! I think next is to get my 16" barrel / rpd bipod setup fabricated, so I can swap to LMG mode lol. It's been quite a project. Learned a lot. I'll update this thread as I make tweaks to it.

I've got to add - if the Max-11/15 is anywhere as fun as this (which it will be), you NEED to jump on it. I'm on the list (#6). I haven't laughed out loud shooting a MG in a very long time.

And I'll be right behind you. If these ever become available, I'd be in for one for ANY model of Mac.

do you wanna sell one to me? I have an M11a1 though so I'd need it a bit shorter

I don't really have any plans to make more. It's a ton of work. The M11a1 would require a little more than just shortening the upper. There's a relationship between the sear catch location, recoil distance, mag location, etc that all have to work in concert to ensure that the carrier doesn't slam into the rear of the lower, there's sufficient recoil space behind the sear catch for it to be reliable, and the carrier on sear is positioned far enough back to reliably strip cartridges from the magazine. There is also a limited space to position the catch on the carrier. It's certainly doable, but would take more time to sort out.

Update -

I fit a drum today. I'll plan on taking a drum dump video this weekend. That burnt bronze is interesting - you can see it looks more brown in these pics vs the gold under stronger light.
