That video is awesome but the barrel is still looks too long .

Any shorter, and you get in to cycling failures with many types of ammo. I only own two AR variants with sub-11.5" barrels, and one of them required extensive work to be 100% reliable.

With 7.62x39, you might be able to shave another few inches, but you will lose velocity as the powder has not completely ignited by the time the bullet exits the barrel. Makes for some SICK fireballs, however.

Don't give me any ideas. Been on one of those already.

GG thanks for the review. Have you run it suppressed yet? Video please.

I haven't had the chance yet, however I may this weekend (shoot suppressed). I'll definitely get more video regardless.

Awesome video! What ammo are you using with the heavy buffer and OE spring? It has a nice rate of fire.

Thanks! I ran it with both wolf and m193. I turned the gas down a fair bit as well. It was super pleasant to shoot with the reduced ROF. The buffer is from heavybuffers.com - the 8.3oz XH Carbine Buffer. By OE spring I meant to say stock AR-15 spring. With the combo it was very soft shooting and cycled well (no issues catching the sear). I probably could have turned down the gas even more.

Likely an obvious question, but I'll ask anyway to confirm, to run different buffer weights and spring combos, you need to drill the hole?
