Murrica, where else.
I’m really surprised how many married couples keep money from each other, or have separate bank accounts on purpose. Money fights/problems is the leading cause for divorce. Everything is ours in my marriage, not hers or mine. She knows every penny I spend on firearms and related accessories. There is no weighted average either because she’s a stay at home mom, heck she works harder at home than most people do at work.

The same at my house. It is our money. My wife is also a "stay at home Mom" and I am so lucky to have her.

We have the same bank account. I don't tell her what I spend but she has a pretty good idea. I'm high maintenance but she is very low maintenance.

All over the place!
I would never lie to the wife about any purchase I make and I would expect the same from her.
Course, if she doesn’t ask or notice, then that’s good too.

I also would never lie to my wife. Since I only show her 1 Mac at a time, she thinks I only have 1. I just don't volunteer the fact that I have more than 1. If she asked to see all my guns, I'd show her. She isn't interested in guns.

She's just happy that I'm happy and guns make me happy, so she supports the hobby.

My Wife is OK with my Machinegun stuff after she learned how much I bought them for and how much they are worth now. Happy Wife, Happy Life.

This thread is to funny and yet kinda sad also.

I just tell my wife I'm gonna buy this or that..... No problems.
She tells me she is going to buy this or that .... No problems.

We both work. We both pay the bills.
She collects shoes and has over one pair for every day in the year and can NOT wear the same pair in a year if she so choses.
While my gun collection isn't near that vast, neither of us complain about what the other collects.

She bought another pair of shoes last week that she will probably never wear or once at the most.
I bought 3 guns Not because of panic buying but because all three were too good to be true but local deals so they were true.
She never said a word about them nor did I mention the shoes accept to say they were nice.

I've got a friend that hides shit from his wife and her from him.
GUESS WHAT?
She's on her way to jail for hiding shit and he's left holding the bag and selling his shit to pay for her mistake.
THAT's where hiding shit from your spouse gets you.
Mistrust, resentment, and in the end divorce. Paying a lawyer 1/2 of what your shit is worth so you can keep 1/2 of what's left after your done selling it to pay the spouse and the lawyer.

No thanks, My wife knows I'm getting the M10 version when it comes out.
And she will probably have 30 more pairs of shoes or more before that.

She doesn't know what it costs only because I don't know either.
Guys are saying 3K I'll wait until LAGE has a price on his site or posts MSRP here. Who knows maybe after it's all said and done it's more then 3K.
I'm sure the hell not going to have her say "you said it's 3K and now it's 3.5K "

Women are an expensive hobby, especially with the long term ownership costs...and you take an even larger hit if you decide to trade for a newer model.

Still cheaper than renting.

Unless you go to Cuba?

My lady has her own expensive hobbies. Her horse costs about the same annually as a new machine gun, so she doesn't fuss about it. We both make good money, and while we have a good system for dividing bills, hobbies are very much to each their own.
