Hi all,

I'm currently waiting on a max-11 mk2 and Bowers vers 9s for my m11/9. I'm a lefty, and the few times I've shot the stock m11/9 suppressed have been less than pleasant due to the gas in the face. I have not yet shot the Bowers vers 9s, which seems specifically designed for subguns, so not sure if that will make a difference.

Anyways, any recommended solutions for the issue? I know of the lage internal gas block, but don't know what else is currently available. Any info or lefty user experience is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, if this is any help, I'm right handed and get gassed out by a wraith XL. My partner has a bowers versa 9s and same thing. Especially on dumps

I am not sure about the Max-11 mk2 but on the mk1 there are two different gas block options. I use them both and it helps alot but not 100%

being left handed is gonna suck that's for sure. Greg Carlson's gas kicker works reasonably well. it was designed for the MK1 and oem uppers so you will have to modify it slightly to work with MK2 uppers. as long as you keep the gas kicker in front of your face and not around your mouth it will help (since your a lefty)

If there is enough interest, I would consider modifying the old design for the MK upper. Let me know.

Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,
Where can we get a gas/brass kicker for a M11-A1 380, with the stock upper? My paperwork was just approved and I plan to shoot almost exclusively with a Bowers VERS-9S.

Thanks,
Darren

I designed one that works with the M11A1 with the stock or Lage MkI upper. Takes a slight 5 minute modification of the stock grip to attach. Will not work with the Lage thumb activated mag release. PM me if interested.
