Was wondering if anyone has tried to increase the mass of the top weight on the lage bolts to slow the ROF down more?

I know the CF-w bolts exist just thought it might be a we bit cheaper to just replace the top section on the lage bolt with a Tungsten weight or a lead weight?

Could try to make a hybrid of the W-MAX adapter and the bar on the top of the Lage bolts.

EDIT:
This is assuming you start with a CF-W bolt and add onto it to get it even slower. I think if you start with a Lage bolt and try to add a tungsten weight to it, you're going to find that a bar of Tungsten that size (and the machinery to cut it to attach to the bolt) is going to be very expensive.

You could probably get a tungsten bar on ebay for $100 that would work but it might be too heavy considering the fact that it would be in addition to the standard steel bolt but you could easily figure that out with some math. Alternatively, you could just drill your lage weight horizontally, fill it with lead and cap off the holes with a set screw

Nothings “free” when you start playing with the ROF.
I don’t want to dissuade anyone from experimenting, but there’s a delicate balance between bolt weight, spring tension and reliability. You won’t be able to increase the bolt weight without adjusting the spring tension. There’s a reason why the ROF is where it is. Curious minds are how innovations are made. It can be done.

Vegas, so I have been thinking about drilling a few hoes in the bar and inserting (epoxy) tungsten weights. Sounds like a few coils being cut would be the next step? I am looking for incremental, not massive change with this.
