It's not about the design work. I can knock that out in less than an hour. It's about having a large enough batch to make it worthwhile to modify the tooling and run production.

I understand.

Even if this happens it's logical that it would be after other more lucrative/pressing projects are winding down.

Thanks for hearing us out. Keep us in mind!

In with a yes vote. In all honesty I could never get myself to love the regular version. It was too long and ungainly for a subgun.

Make it short with a 5-6" barrel and add some tension screws to the upper. (Another thing that bugged me - shooting it was like trying to shoot a gun made from tinker toys, it wobbled all over the place.)

It needs to be just long enough for a person to get their hand on a VFG using a Suomi drum.

How about short and fat? A Max31K for the M10 I think would look better than a K version on the M11/Nine.

I’m curious why make a large version for any of the macs? I like my subguns small

How did the full size ever get started vs a K version

Lol he just needs to hire more people or something so he can sell more awesome Lage goodness! So many amazing products ! Thank you Mr lage for everything you do for the Mac community! Your products alone have taken the m11 from the bottom of the barrel mg to something much much more.

Murrica, where else.
1200 plus views on this thread says there is interest, but without an official list I don’t think you’re going to get enough folks to speak up. I bet the poll would be different if the thread was started by Richard, just sayin.

If a 31k is ever released that's how my m11 would stay configured by default, both stored and shot.

As it sits the 31a is a f*cking carbine, nowhere near trying to be a PDW, kinda fug too.

Hey.. I keep my custom K on all the time (when not set up for competition) and use my CFW in both- I basically see it as part of the lower!

CFW has been damn near perfect for everybody, renders your quote moot.

No, it doesn't.

BR asked why Lage even made a full length version. Richard has stated before that this was the most reliable configuration. Remember, this is before the advent of the CFW bolt.

in for K version of either M11/9 or M10. maybe not as short as the one pictured in this thread, but sure can knock a little off the end of the existing model. Maybe a horizontal or angled grip option too if the drum is really an issue with a K model.

I really want a drum upper, would prefer a smaller package then the Max-31. I wonder how hard is it to grip with a drum inserted? Anyone with the small frame Max31K have an answer?

And is there any chance of the 31K in the next 2 years considering the Max11/15 line would take precedence?

I love my 31a’s. They are definitely a carbine set up though. The CFW bolt in the original upper is also really fun. That’s what’s awesome about this platform, versatility...
