Greetings guys and gals,
I am still waiting on my stamp to come back for my RPB M10/9, but the finish on the firearm is pretty ratty.
So, here's my noobie question: I am talking to a local SOT that parkerizes, and he was curious as to how much aluminum vs steel is in the construction of the firearm. All I can find online as far as construction is that the firearm is made out of stamped metal.
I assume that the upper and lower themselves are both steel, and the 'moving' parts are aluminum, but I do not want to guess.

Magnets don't stick to 300 series Stainless Steels (Austenitic Stainless steel) either, but not sure if the Mac's have any in them! The proper term is Ferromagnetism, and their are ferritic Stainless steels (Magnetic if you like).
