Wanted to post some pics of the Mini Uzi repair section I bought from Global Tool and Machine. Looks awesome, has the correct placement of the single rib, so should be an easy build for me! While I was visiting GTM, I saw a lot of "new developments" in the uzi home build dept. Wont let the cat out of the bag, but believe that we will see some awesome products, both small, medium, and large from them in the near future. Any way back to the gun porn photos!

Thanks for the pics! Would sure like to hear more about the developements coming out of GM&T. I'v been bugging them about a full Mini receiver, but they were reluctant to talk about it other than saying "it costs money to bring those things to market". Uh, DUH!

I just got this reply.

Global Machine & Tool LLC wrote: "Sorry, all we have right now is a mini uzi repair section. Complete mini receivers are not going to be anytime soon. We have too many other projects going right now."

and another update:

"An employee made an unauthorized post on this page earlier today that we would have mini uzi receivers ready to sell by the first of the year. That was a misunderstanding on his part. We are slowing adding mini uzi parts to our product line but there is a large tooling cost associated with this process and we can only absorb it a little bit at a time. We may have to take on a corporate partner to do the mini uzi receiver. If we do, than we may be constrained from selling them directly to the public. Also, if and when we get a mini uzi receiver built, it will be submitted to the BATFE for classification as a semi receiver. This is for our protection and our customers protection. Under the current administration that process might take months. So, I am sorry that anyone may have been misled, but mini uzi receivers will not be available anytime soon.
Thanks for your understanding,
Bill Nelson"

well so much for that idea. lol
