Got my upper back from okpud today. Seems like a fairly simple job, wrenching off the old flash suppressor and putting on an AAC Blackout flash suppressor. He did the work really quick, door to door was a little over a week. Thanks!

Glad you're happy with it. Most jobs are simple when you have the right tools :).

Sometimes making the tools themselves is the hard part.

Sorry, didn't mean to say it's an easy job. It just SEEMS like a simple job. But isnt. A job no smith I could find in Houston, the 3rd largest city in the country, has done before. On an AR, sure, no problem. Done it myself. But on a LH thread full auto? What's a FNC? No dice.

Again, thanks.

Okpud, would you post your charges for doing such work? I need the exact same thing done to my upper. Would you need me to supply the Blackout?
You can PM me if you want. Also would the FNC FH be able to be readily put back on to restore the upper to original status? Would it be possible to do it my self with a barrel vice, wrench, etc?
Thanks
