They both look great! Maybe I'll be able to afford another MG in a while...

oh yeah... believe it or not as bad as MA is on gun laws (and believe me they are pretty bad) you can own some NFA. MGs, SBRs and SBSs are legal. Suppresors and Covert weapons (cane guns, pen guns or any other hidden gun) are illegal.

I tell you what. I have fired tons and tons of MGs through the years. The AC-556 was the first one I have owned and I certainly rate it right up there with all the rest. As long as you feed it with good quality factory Ruger 20 or 30 rd mags it will NOT FAIL you. Good rate of fire 750rpm and very controlable with some practice. 0% malfuntions if fed with good mags.
Some people call it an entry level MG. I disagree.... its a more affordable MG but it is in NO way any less of a weapon than an M16 or anything else.
It rates very high in my book. I have always loved my AR 15s, Mini 14s and I love this AC even more than any of them.

ok.. ok... you can have it for a million bucks.... :D

I tell you.... I love that Ruger more than my buddies M16 and his H&K 308 belt fed.

I just really like Rugers factory service and the rugged qualities of the AC-556s.

cant beat them. Of course that is only my opinion.

oh yeah... to answer your question Jason, I think the next thing will be a short barrel for my IMI model A UZI.

I've already got an M10, and should have my AC556 in any day now. Great choice!

Now get in line for the MAX-10. I love mine.

NAM, do I recall correctly from ARF that you're in Minot? If you ever make it out to the Williston area we should do some blasting. Here's my meager title 2 collection...

here are both of my NFA toys.

Ruger AC-556K
MAC-10 .45acp (Jersey Arms Hatton Industries)

I have a fake suppressor for it because suppressors are illegal in MA.

Nice. Before my 1st ex-wife I had a nice select fire AK47 Chicom. Around 800rpm. Pre86 it cost me a grand total $850. I had it built in 85 before the crash. This is what I have now, MAC is inbound. AR pistol and SBR are same.

Nice toy's, but that Jersy Arms Mac without the original stock could almost be considered a downgrade. I only say this because the Jersy Arms had the very best stock of all the Mac's as far as functionality is concerned. It's only my opinion, but I think all Mac's should have been fitted with these stock's as an optional factory upgrade.

Agree, agree, agree. I really like the JAWS MACs a bunch! One of our subgun match regulars showed up with one IN .45ACP several months ago and I'm in love! And yes, he shoots it in stock form.

I agree with you there Macaholic. There is a M10 .45 with the jersy stock locally (I'm actually didn't check to see if it was indeed a Jersy Arms Mac) and I'd love to get my hands on it. They want 4k though and I think that is a bit out of my price range. I love that stock though!
