Here's my project that was based on the Polytech Hunter Gen 1. It does not say Polytech anywhere on it, just says 386 Semi Auto, and lacks the side rail holes drilled into the later versions.
The rifle had the back end milled off, a brand new barrel installed with muzzle threaded for standard Galil muzzle devices, set up with ARM parts but was able to keep all serial parts matching by keeping the bolt carrier, bolt and receiver serial numbers matching.
Used bakelite Chinese pistol grip to match the Chinese bakelite magazines to give it that different look. Topped things off with polished stainless bolt carrier and fixed wood Galil stock. Let me know what you think.
