Consider Richards loader adapter. I am ordering one.

the thing that lets you use the butler creek speedloader?
there's no "considering" only "buying".
I tried my loader once. then tried the adapter thing on my speedloader once. put away the single loader. not even sure where it is now and dont care.
I even bought a second adapter and speedloader as a spare. epoxied the first one into the loader so I wouldnt lose it. works like a freakin champ!

Get the speedloader set-up and lots of mags so that you can go to the range and shoot for a half hour before having to reload mags. Then shop for deals on the ammo that it likes.

What speedloader set-up are you guys referring to? I'll EVENTUALLY receive my Max-11/22 and would like to know about the best loader available. Thanks.

Lage makes an adapter which allows the use of Butler Creeks Hot Lips Loader with the M11/22 40rd mags. The adapter isn't listed on his site, but can be ordered upon request.

It makes loading the mags much easier.

Ran it again this past weekend. Had one or two stoppages per mag, but it's improving.

I ordered mine also, where did your loader break? Maybe I could wrap some fiberglass and epoxy around the weak spot to strengthen it.

The small piece that pushes down on the bullets is what broke. I fixed it with superglue. I noticed early on that it wasn't exactly straight when pushing down on the bullets. Because of the force off to thes side, the piece broke.
