Greetings from South Florida,
My Mk-760 has always had an issue with reliable feeding using Suomi 36 rd magazines. They wouldn't lock up tight so any pressure on them would cause
a jam. After trying several ideas, none of which eliminated the problem, I came up with this easy fix.
Black plastic electrical tape. As one can see from the photos, single pieces vertically and a piece wrapped around the body of the magazine.
The tape has enough "give" to lock up the magazine tight and its tough. I haven't had to replace the tape since I installed it.
With this modification, the mag can be held any way you want and it'll feed. Hope this helpsIMG_1710.jpegIMG_1712.jpegIMG_1711.jpegIMG_1713.jpeg

Came looking for help on poor fitting Suomi magazines and this is what I find...

Mind you the sideways movement does not appear to hinder the ammo feeding on my MK760. Does it matter?

I found that the fore and aft lock up was the most critical. The electrical tape trick I used makes the whole mag lock up tight. Now if I want to hold the gun using the magazine it still runs. Prior if I wanted to have it run half way reliably I either had to not touch the magazine or hold forward pressure by my thumb on the back of the mag and fingers around the mag well. The tape works 100% better. You may need to experiment with the tape clearances as I believe the mag wells on the 760's can vary some.
Good luck

I was holding the magazine, letting it dangle with the gun at an angle etc and no problems.

I was testing a batch of 5 of the 1950s Finnish magazines that locked up without any fiddling around with filing off the front lugs. I got them NOS from a GB seller, they work/fit so well I am buying 10 more.

From my understanding "I got lucky" with magwell fitment.

Ghetto Fabulousness Mad Max style... but if it works, it works. SMG snobness need not apply!
